Privacy Policy
The privacy of your personal and
financial information is extremely important at the Law Offices
of Benedict Schwarz,
II. When
you retain us to handle a matter for you, we collect a significant
amount of information from you in order to properly advise
and represent you. We take our obligation to you very seriously
and we want you to know how we protect your private and confidential
information.
Your information is subject to the Attorney/Client privilege,
which in general terms means that Attorney cannot be forced
to disclose privileged information about you. Not all information
is subject to the privilege, such as information otherwise
available to the public, which includes documents available
to the public in a court file, or allegations set forth in
a pleading in a lawsuit. Also, information revealed in the
presence of another person, such as would be the case when
a husband and wife engage in mediation or estate planning,
is not privileged as to the husband and wife but would be as
to anyone else.
We do not disclose information about you or our former clients
to service providers or other third parties except as required
by law. We will, of course, comply with any court mandates
as necessitated by your case. Even within our own firm, only
a limited number of people who actually service your matter
will ever have access to your personal, financial, or other
information. Further, we do not share information about our
current or former clients with any outside marketing groups
or sales entities.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work on your behalf.
